Yep I got a ticket in the mail this weekend too. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm definitely fighting the ticket though. In the picture you can read the plate number but not the state. No way to say it was an Illinois plate.

We had one. And then no one else seen the post, but we had 4 cars show up. Nothing else after that.

I've a few mods on my car. I hope it doesn't bother the group. You know just typical stuff like intake, tune, did a little work on the stereo to give it more oomph, gold rims, there's an aftermarket spoiler that's maybe 2' high and I've a neon underkit.

Not specifically a 1 series meet, but we get a bunch of BMWs at meets near the Chicago burbs.

I'm surprised more of you don't go to the ChitownM meets every Wednesday night. Good group of people. Nice cars and good conversations. It's not just a meet for M cars. It is open to any BMW. Usually we rotate meets from Niles/Skokie, Northbrook, Wheeling, Oak Brook, Schaumburg. Last week we did one Downtown (pics below) for the heck of it.

This week we are meeting at Tilted Kilt in Oak Brook after 7pm. We will watch the Hawks game there, have some dinner, brews and a good time. Feel free to come by.
