Looking for Maddad Mid-pipe..

I am looking for a mid-pipe section for my 1M (prefereably Maddad) however my order with HP Autosport was cancelled. They said they will make minimum 6 units and there is not enough interest. Any recommendation or alternatives. Thank you, Michael

N55 stock mid-pipe is highly recommended.

There is a berk resonated midpipe as well and I believe they are available at the moment. The N55 is by far the easiest and cheapest to obtain - you can get it from any BMW dealer.

I got my MadDad from an owner when they were parting out. Be patient, the car will go from quiet to loud and sporty, makes a huge difference. Good luck!

There is a substantial difference in volume between the N55 and the Maddad.
The Maddad sounds quite good and it is surprising that it makes such a difference in quality and volume of the exhaust, both in a subjectively good way.

I'm interested in the Maddad as well. Maybe we can get enough interest to place an order.

The MadDad mid-pipe is no longer produced by the original manufacturer, but by Stromung Exhaust, (714) 596-4050.

So what is Harold of HP auto-works selling to us on a minimum 6-piece order?
I am made to believe he needs 6 orders to get an order going.

You have provided Stromung’s contact info, please help me understand why? Are they taking orders directly ?

Would like to see both a cold start and some in-cabin pulls across the rev range as well.

If you can post up some links to youtube when you have some time that would be awesome.

Thanks for posting of the video, amazing driving by the way.

The recording from inside the car seems a little bit off, really boom and really a Lot of drone. Maybe this is dude to sound reflecting in the cabin to the mic or the mic type or mic location ??? I don’t think that there’s any drone with the maddad mid pipe but perhaps you could help me better understand if this is a recording issue or if the car becomes this massive droning machine.

I have seen other videos on YouTube where the Maddad is equipped with a stock exhaust and sounds brilliant. Like this link:

https://youtu.be/h4v1QQtZEqA

Again great driving …!

Probably a mic issue, drone actually improved over stock with the MadDad midpipe. This was an early gopro probably a hero3 if I recall correctly, which was back when they were inside a solid box. If you used the open back, the wind noise was horrendous.

Where did you buy the Berk (and Supersprint catback)?

I'm guessing we still dont have enough interest in the Maddad to place an order?

How does the Berk midpipe compare to Maddad? Anyone been able to compare the two? I'm keeping stock exhaust FYI.
