NGK 95770 the correct plug for my 08 135i?
Im seeing that it is the correct plug, and that its the same plug as the 5992 with an updated stock number. So, I was about to order them, but when I went to this site it says that they do not fit my 135i..
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...vD_BwE#fitment Im going to be running them at 0.22 gap. Installing new coils at the same time as well. This is going on a 450rwhp setup, FBO. So, need to make sure these are the correct plugs.. LOL Thanks guys!!

For a N54 engine BOSCH ZGR6STE2 BMW p/n 12120037244
BMW OE $16 per plug... https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...ug-12120037244 Bosch aftermarket plug $5 each... https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...lug-0242140507 https://www.fcpeuro.com/BMW-parts/13...ds=12120037244 N55 spark plugs look very similar to N54 plugs, but won't work correctly. I would highly recommend going with the BMW OE plugs. Some guys have had misfire issues with the Bosch aftermarket plugs. Then again, some have not. Buy a high quality 12mm(thin wall), 12 point spark plug socket tool - to remove the plugs. Don't buy some low quality tool!! You might also need new coil packs and also closely inspect your valve cover for any cracks. They all seem to crack with age. Dackel

Dackelone My goal is get a plug thats one step cooler then OEM. Thats more then likely the reason the website is saying they are incorrect. I just wanna cover my ass and double check before ordering. I know many members on N54tech.com are using these. I am installing Delphi Coils as well at the same time.
Also, maybe wanted to see if anyone on here had experience with these NGK coils? Thanks a bunch for the response! I used those BOSCH plugs for my last replacement. They worked well. But wanna try something new =).

I just installed NGK 95770 in my 135 last week:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They fit perfect, although I was not able to run 0.22 gap with mine. I had to go down to 0.20, and still get a bit of stutter on cold starts -- so I will be moving down to 0.18 (which is the number I read somewhere was recommended anyways). I have Delphi coils that are about 8 months old. Plugs seem fine, less impressed with the Delphi coils. |
