This is why I think they are using the whole M3 front end. The M3 track is 60.5 for both front and rear. The 135i front track is 58.4 and 59.7 rear. The M3 front track is 2.1" wider or over an inch on each side. I think the front fenders have to be so wide to cover this.

The rear is still .8" wider. Those flares look about right to me to. If this is the case it will be very hard for my 135i to ever handle as well as the M turbo/M1. BMW makes the M3 have equal tracks that will naturally understeer less.

I think that the front and rear track both have not changed between the Sedona and the BW mule. Only the fender bodywork front and rear, seems to have been finalized. The front fender of the BW mule has the M-vent opening, with the vinyl camocladding pasted over it.

Take a look at the Sedona mule and how far the front tires stick out. My guess is that it is at least an inch. Also the first pictures of the later mule clearly show at least 2 of the current M3's rear suspension parts. I cannot of course be positive about anything on this car, but I have current M3 suspension parts on my 135i to improve handling and from a financial point of view it just makes. Call it a hunch....
