I'd love to get a copy of that issue and frame it for my garage (after reading all of the articles of course).

I'm usually a fan of Alpine White but this Black is something else. In a good way.

Why anyone would buy a black car completely baffles me.

what do you mean?

I particularly think orange is ugly, but to each his own. If you keep it garaged it doesn't have to be washed as frequently as they seem to show the dirt more quickly. some people don't understand why someone would pay so much for a BMW. So try to add some reasoning to your statement if you could.

I totally agree with the each to their own comment. However in my opinion black hides the shape and lovely curves of a car. It makes the car blend in with every other car and makes its look normal.

Im talking about mildly nice cars. The special ones that you take pride in.

Even super cars look shite in Black.

These pictures only go to show exactly why I don't like black cars.

Where are the details? Imagine black kidneys and sun protection glass too?

Each to their own.

Hmm, ok, we notice that black cars obviously aren't extremely popular in Surrey, UK... 2 of 2, that's evidence enough.

Actually, depending on the light it can hide them even more than a black metallic color.

I think the 1M suits all of the colours that we've seen. However, I would go for black. I would also really like to see it in MR or IB. That won't happen though.

Which is why a blue would have been the most logical choice.

Not too dark and not too flashy. Ho hum.

I think the same about some cars. For example, the M3 coupe. I would never buy it in black because it hides all the important details and doesnt stand out much more than an M-sport IMO. I would rather go for a less common colour like MR, SG, IB etc.

However, looking at the choices for the 1M I don't want orange I would get bored of it and white is too common for me. Therefore black is best. If there was an option for other colours like MR I would go for something else.

Are you being sarcastic? lol. I only ask because I thought black was a favourite among most people but this is the 2nd comment I've seen against it.

The real question is:
How come that 'Playboy Magazine' has the first ever photo's of 1M in black ?

I mean... seriously... people are already putting down deposits and signing orders for a 1M... But still not decided what color to pick.
And BMW still didn't show any black 1M...
And now Playboy has the scoop, with some bad quality pics.

The only one thing I dont like about black is when it hides all of the body details. It's usually not my first choice. However, some cars do look really classy in black.
