N55 Valvetronic relay code P10E4
I have a 2011 135i DCT that I recently replaced the valvetronic actuator after the check engine light came on with code P10E5.
Now it is throwing a P10E4 "valvetronic relay, supply voltage: Line disconnection." I checked the 40A fuse (12v measured at both stakes) and the relay (continuity of the coil) and both seem ok. https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...-fuse/CkCUSfGV https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...i-cou/GImPxeab Only things left are the cable and DME but here's the weird part. Yesterday I drove it ~60 miles and while returning home I noticed the turbo was boosting again. This morning it let me clear the code but it re-asserted itself a few hours later when I went to run an errand. This has me thinking a bad cable or loose connector but I'm having problems figuring out what step to take next. Thanks in advance! |

valvetronic motor
I just replaced my valvetronic motor.I got almost 95k miles out of it. It was creating all sorts of mayhem. Somedays it would be totally good, then suddenly not so much. then it would be back.
