The Hartge 4 tip exhaust will not work on US Model cars due to the carbon canister interfering.

The only options at this point are RPI and the new 3D Design exhaust. The Bastuck and Eisenmann will fit with some modification.

Hey Frank, how much performance gain do you think would there be for the 128i with the 3d quad exhaust??? And speaking on that note, how much are you guys getting on ur 135i?

We havn't dyno tested the exhaust yet, but seeing as it is manufactured by Arqray it should be right on par with all other high quality exhausts . We are not sure on the 128i either, but with any exhaust you are only looking at around 5-10 horsepower, and the quad system is purely aesthetic.

Sorry, Frank was a little mis informed. You can get the Hartge exhaust and the Hartge rear diffuser for the US 1er. We do have a great special on them. (will send you PM).

the 3D Design exhaust is made to work with the 3D Design diffuser or you can trim the stock diffuser. The passenger side tip location is a mirror image of the driver side.

the other options that we offer for the US customers are the Remus and RPI.
Remus is just an axle back system whereas the RPI is a full downpipe back system.

the 3D Design has tips that are basically mirror images of the stock tips. The Hartge system is a system that relocated the tips towards the center (kind of like the E92 M3 look).

the Hartge system will only work with the Hartge rear diffuser. Whereas the 3D Design will work with the 3D Design diffuser or you can modify your stock diffuser for the passenger side tips.
