Cheapest Winter Tires that fit on stock 18"s for 135i

Should the squared off size be 225/40/18 or 225/45/18 ?

Does anyone know what the cheapest winter dedicated tires would be in that size that definitely work on a stock 135i?

225/40/18 is what you'll want to look into. 225/45 is too tall of a size and will cause rubbing issues.

As recommended I order 225/40/18 all around last year. If I were to order again I would go with 225/45/18 as there is more than enough clearance on stock suspension, another possibility would be ordering a wider rear tire as 225/40/18 looks ridiculously stretched on the rear 8 1/2 wheel.

I have a set of Hankook W300's in a 225/40/18 that I ran on my IS350 for a couple of winters. Probably have about 10,000miles on them.

I'm gonna run 17's on the 135i so they're up for grabs. Let me know if you're interested and I can send you some pics.

No, it's barely noticeable and most importantly you don't want a wider snow tire.

I know you do not want wider tire. I am just saying if I were to order tires again it would be 225/45/18 as there is more than enough room to run this on stock suspension without issues. Too bad I didn't make any pictures last year, but the amount of stretch was ridiculous. Many people asked me if I have flat in the rear that is how bad it looked.
