Question regarding ED and clear bra

I plan on ordering a 135 with ED sometime in the near future and after the condition my TSX is in now, I plan on definetaly getting a clear bra for my 135. The question I have is, after driving hundreds of miles in Europe without a clear bra, I'm sure I'll get a few chips from high speed driving.

What have others done in a similar situation? Does BMW fix the chips before re-delivery?

Thanks!

I posted a similar question prior to my ED.. In Europe, you will find the roads much cleaner/smoother than American roads. Try not to follow any lorries or tailgate anyone and you should be fine. Upon re-delivery I did find one chip, but it was not on the hood or front bumper, in fact it caught the edge of my passenger side front fender where it meets the front bumper. Everything else was clean.

I do not believe BMW will fix anything THAT minor before re-delivery.

They adsolutly will fix anything you want them to. When you drop it off you must note any damage to the car. If it is not repaired by the vpc you can have your dealer do it.

The insurance you have for ED carries a zero deductible.

Of course it would be up to you at that point if you wanted it fixed or live with it.

You could always tape the fronht of the car with masking tape while you are over there.

As someone said

it is more difficult to find a pothole than a supermodel on European highway.
Actually I did not see a single one on 3083 mile driving in 5 countries during my Sept08 ED, no Supermodel either.

It's fine.

At drop-off time, indeed, Harms guy will go down and check your car with a diagram to mark down all damages they found and you told them.
