Missing file for WinKFP flash

Hey everyone

I'm finally getting around to my 3 stage intake and bimmerlabs tune. I'm fairly competent (usually

) but I have hit a snag. I downloaded the BMW Tools and SP-Daten files from Bimmergeeks and set up WinKFP no problem. My issue is that I dont seem to have the correct files to use for my DME. Since my 128i has the N52N, it has the MSV80 DME. To correctly use WinKFP for my unlock and flash, I would imagine I need to use the 08MSV80 .PRG and .IPO files.

08MSV80.PRG came with the SP-Daten download

08MSV80.IPO did not.

I cant seem to find this file online either. Anybody have any tips, tricks, links or the file itself?

Yeah if you grabbed everything from Bimmerlabs and Bimmergeeks you should have everything.

Did you set up the program like it says in the Bimmerlabs' help section?

I just flipped thru my DATEN files and I only had MSV70.ipo and I flashed my tune no issue.

Yep, I followed the steps in the help. I just figured I would need the matching .IPO and .PRG files. Does your car also have a MSV80 DME? Did you also use the MSV70 .PRG file?

Yeah all 128is have MSV80

I imported ALL the files instead of just the ones I needed, and it let me flash it.

Turns out that the ipo filename for MSV80s is "12MSV80.ipo" not "08MSV80.ipo" and is readily found in the e89 sp-daten files. Shout out to hassmaschine for the tip. I'm gonna get this sucker tuned asap
