BetaLink vs. 3M
Just received my OEM CF spoiler today for install on my 1er. I purchased the BMW Adhesive Kit, but haven't read good reviews on it. What are the pros/cons of either. Also, I am worried the 3M will come apart when I'm really getting into it (regularly get her up over 140mph+).

I have used the 3m automotive tape on all my carbon fiber parts (lip spoiler, splitters, headlight eyebrows) and no issues of it falling or loosening at high speeds or 100+ MPH on the interstate.

Just a thought, even though BMW adhesive is pain in the ass to remove but it holds super well. Robb at BR Racing recommends me using dental floss to remove it if in case you decide to install using BMW adhesive. I have the same situation with you

Well, my biggest concern was that I've heard that BetaLink oozes out if you use just a bit too much, and then it's almost impossible to remove perfectly. Wanted some experience with tis and clarification.

Beta link is permanent but holds the best. There is a bit more margin for error than 3M but it is rock solid.
3m performance spoilers often peel up at the edges over time but are an easy less permanent solution. |

Used the 3M tape, worked like a charm! Very strong hold too! I was careful to get the tape all the way over to the corners and on the small curved lip above the flat surface, and it's completely flush and center on the trunk! It actually looks like I knew what I was doing
