Smile Am I paying the right price? 2009 128 Cabrio

Hi,

I did not do the research ahead of time, maybe I should have (I sort of bought it spur of the moment). I ordered the following yesterday:

2009 128 Convertible
Metallic black
Black top and Black leatherette
Manual transmission

IPOD, Xenon, Sports, Premium Sound

3000 down (includes NYS sales tax and fees)
549 per month
36 month lease

Was this a decent deal? I am having trouble figuring it out.

Thanks!

I am not sure what he based the price on but I am now starting to think its high as well. I am paying $20485 total plus tax to drive 12K a year for 3 years. Tax is $1779.00. Now that I ordered, can I renegotiate? I did this at Rally BMW on Long Island.

In the technical terms of contracts you cant renegotiate a contract thats you've already agreed to terms on and signed....

But i dont know what is in the terms of your contract, there probably is an "option" to rescind/back out of the contract before a certain date.

I would call and cancel it then start from stratch

Metallic black
Black top and Black leatherette

a car equipped like that is $37,750.

I'm guessing you did $3000 net due at signing, not $3000 down payment, big difference. I have no idea what you did for mileage, but I'm gonna guess 12k? Either way, if that payment inlcudes tax, that really is not a high payment.
