BMW E82 powered by N54B30

Okay so here is my 135i. Car is originally from Cali and I have owned this car for almost a year. Now the car has 93 000km on the clock.

The beginning of the story with this car wasnīt all fun and games. About one month after owning the car I started to get limp mode. So annoying. I took the car to the BMW dealer 3 times to fix the problem and yet they had no idea what was causing the limp mode. And so I kept getting the limp mode. Daayeum I was pissed off for the car constantly loosing the power. Finally they managed to find the problem wich turned out to be a leaking injector.
Well, here is everything that was replaced after all to fix the problem
-All injectors (now I am running index 12 WOHOO!)
-All Spark plugs
-All Coils
-Some vacuum lines
-Vanos solenoid valve

My passanger side window started to go up and down like a maniac so they changed the
-Controller
-Cable Harness
-Motor
-Gasket to keep the moist out

After this, the engine pulled like a dream and the window worked no problem.

Here are all the options:

First I thought I will keep the car stock. The performance felt great. But you know how it goes. You get used to the power. So I wanted more.

My first upgrade was MHD stage 1 and BMS DCI. Wow what a difference! But... like allways. I needed more powah.

I visited VRSF webshop and ordered
- 3" cattless dpīs
- 7" HD FMIC
- silicone inlets
- chargepipe

The shipping was lightning fast. It only took few days to get everything delivered.

I have never done anything by myself to a car, not even changed oil. So why not tune a car to +400 hp. Well fok it. Git īEr Done!

The downpipes looked fantastic. Finnish was top notch quality!

These fellows were not fun to install. The V bands gave me a headache. You really need to get them just right. Well, next time it will be easier now that I know how to do it. Exhaust sound after replacing them cats with these 3" bad boys? Sounds fantastic!

Okay my car has also the BMW Performance Exhaust wich ads pretty sweet burples and rasp to the hi revs

Next thing was to install the intercooler. Compared to the DPīs this is easy. Espacially if you have extra hands with you. Special thanks goes to Masander for the help. The VRSF 7" HD makes the stock FMIC look like a toy. Sure, it weights much more over the stock but hey thatīs the price you need to pay for the performance. The IAT hardly raise at all especially now that it is winter time

The CP was high quality aswell. Easy to install. Just remember to tighten those meth bung plugs and you will be fine. Those hose clamps were a litle bit too big but it didnīt matter as the fitment was still very tight. VRSF provides great quality. Thanks to Tiago @ VRSF

After I installed all the FBO parts I upgraded MHD Stage 1 to Stage 1+. The car pulls way harder than stock. The boost builds up much faster too. Great succes!

My carīs tire setup was Michelin Pilot Sport 4 in the front and Pilot Sport 2 at the rear. I smoked the shit out of those Pilot Sport 2ī by making burnouts. After that I got them replaced with Pilot Sport 4. Those PS4 are awesome. When you do a stand still launch with these PS4 they literally grab into the tarmac. You could do 0-60 laucnhes under 5 sec all day with them. They are very good on a rainy surface aswell. Thats the reason I chose the PS4 over the Pilot Super Sport.

I also got my stock LPFP replaced by Walbro 450 stage 2. I took this picture from google bc I didnīt find a picture of my own similar pump. My next plan is to get a custom tune from PureBoost and run RE85.

I also took my car to wallnut blast. Here is before. Look at that goop!

I am pretty sure the intake works much better looking like this.

Thanks. I like how the E82 Coupe looks so I have no problem keeping the OEM look. And with FBO parts I think it is actually faster than it looks

You know how it works when you start doing exterior mods! You will keep finding things that could be improved and it gets expensive.

I thought I'd just change the headlights and be done with it.

My lights looked like this. Something had to be done. So I sanded them

This is how they look now

My BMW Performance Exhaust looked like this so I had to do some cleaning and polishing

Now they are looking better

Mirror looked terrible. It annoyed me everytime I was looking to the objects losing

Now it is all clear and crisp like my 4K television at home

Car has been running good. Still going with low boost (about 14psi). But that is about to change. The VRSF bolt ons made a huge difference in terms of power and sound. They still bring a smile in my face when hitting the pedal to the metal. And so far no problems with the bolt ons

Next thing should be instalning wheelspacers. I was thinking 16mm rear and 16mm front. What do you guys think?

What grit sand paper did you use for your headlights?
Also what size tires are you running? Im running 255/35 in the rear and 12mm spacer is all i could fit without rubbing.

I used 800, 1500, 2000 and 3000. You can even starr with 500 in case your headlights are very grey.

I am running 245/35/18. I think I should be fine with 14mm or 15mm spacers in the rear and 12mm in the front

What did you use on the mirror? I have the same thing starting on mine and didn't know you could actually get that to come off.
