No clue on when the parts would go for sale, that is out of my jurisdiction since it's between HP Autowerks and SLeK.

SLeK may make a diffuser and/or sideskirts for the 135i. But that would be later, first they need to recoup the costs of all the pieces they have made since a mold+prototype of each piece is extremely expensive. If they see that enough people buy the lip/hood/trunk for the 135i then they would consider making more 135i stuff.

I just received word of the trunk MSRP price. Remember this is MSRP, if you get in on the group buy it will be cheaper I'm sure.

B 82 S TRNK BMW 1 Series Trunk Single $1,079.00
B 82 D TRNK BMW 1 Series Trunk Double $1,499.00

I'm hoping SLeK will try to use a smaller box and then HP Autowerks will see if they can find cheaper options for shipping so it won't be as high as before hopefully.

I'm pretty sure they use the boxes they currently do to better protect the item. Shipping is never cheap no matter how light the item weighs. It's usually done by dimensional weight.

UPS Freight

i just had a cf hood delivered to Kelowna, British Columbia from CA for $260.00.
That $260.00 was including a $60.00 insurance.
If you go Freight it seem to be less expensive.
However in Canada you need a broker to clear custom about $100.00
plust the tax, another $120.00

Still, i think it was good deal for me.

Hmm, thats not for me. Think id rather go with an oem style cf hood with the power bulge. The vents would probably not work for me as I have a DCI. I hope Slek comes out with such a hood as well as their csl trunk soon. Also really would love to see a dry carbon diffusor made, much like the one ICarbon produced before they died off, i really prefer that dry carbon for the diffusor as thats the only cf part I would not paint.

Hood & Trunk group buy should happen this week I believe. The holidays put a hold on it but now that 2012 has come, the group buy should be started soon.

It will probably come later, a new mold has to be made for the vents I think.
