BMWP SSK Short Shift photos, does this look right.

Hi,

I have n54 135i. I have the BMWP short shift fitted along with the UUC DDSR
(Dual Shear Selector Rod)

However my gear knobs nutrual position now feels closer to the driver. If i were to click into the 1st and 2nd side it would feel in the OEM pre SSK position.

This is in nutral.





Can you tell me if this is normal?

Not normal... double check your installation, plus your shifter boot is not secure.

IIRC take the arm off and flip it 180 degrees and you'll be good to go

Thanks for all your help, can anyone work out from these pics if the arm is the wrong way round?







How was will the 180 flip be to do? can it be done from the top? or do you have to take everything out underneth again?
