I was meant to collect mine today but went to fit the 1m headlights and the carriers were to small from the 135i because of the 1m wings ordered some which will be here on Monday though

well the new bonnet will hopefully go on next week as im not 100% happy with the fitment so will have to tweak it when i get time, the standard bonnet is on now and still looks good, just a shame the rest of the cars paint is mint and the bonnet is not lol, oh well never mind. first thoughts is the exhaust note, very nice and if anything better on start up and wot but perfect for me.
the handling with the wider track is SUPERB, this with the 275's ath the back really enspire confidence, god knows what it will be like when the diff is fitted! winter rubber is on and tbh i would say a bad word about my dunlops - perfect in these conditions just need to get the tracking done next week and wait for a piece for the centre console - its been a long wait but worth it, ill get some proper camera pics up - hope you enjoyed the build to date and the finished pictures - every detail is perfect! bar the alloys not being 1m ones for now |

Car looks fantastic- this is probably the closest a conversion has come to an actual factory 1m. Full Suspension, full interior, body and full bsm paint. Really good work.

well all the body work complete time to make it not only look the part but go like the 1m as well
progress up to now fromt m3 hubs/shocks installed front m3 drop links installed front m3 calipers m3 lower control arms m3 tension struts yellow stuff pads goodwich hoses eibach 1m sportline springs rear subfram, cattless downpipes and cobb intercooler being started tomorrow, then the jb4 goes back on shortly follwed by the meth kit got to say the 135 brake set up as heavier than the m3 one and the m3 discs are huge! was going to change the caliper colour but decided on the oem look - the m3 calipers are big enough for me! front spacers now removed but i may need a 5mm spacer depending on the stance but the camber of the arms naturally push the alloys out enjoy well happy to say its all done and is seriously a real weapon now! intercooler, down pipes all m3 rear sub/brakes/control arms etc etc all on the downpipe give a perfect raspy sound which i love! not to loud at all the m3 diff is just what i expected - excellent and i can say i prefer it to any quaiffe i have had the ride also has the perfect drop with the 1m springs time for the track day on monday cant wait! i have left the front spacers off for now as i want to see how it handles with and without at the track next week enjoy the pictures and if you see me get out of the way ha ha this is now a full 1m conversion bar the steering rack and overboost function ( and the 359 alloys lol) |
