Opinion wanted: Burger "N55 Stage 1" or "N55 JB4"?
2013 135i convertible: current mods are the Berk Race exhaust and BMS intake and I have no plans to do anything else but a tune.
The Stage 1 is $150 less than the JB4, which is not a big deal but I am looking for one that will give me the least amount of hassles. Thanks in advance...Bob Z. |

Both are really rather problem free! Many more features like guage hijacking etc with the stage 2. Someone else can chime in about the tunes. I love my stage 2 so far.

Get the Jb4 for better tunes and features (I'd go for the ISO if I was you, maps are buttery smooth)

Stage 1 is no longer supported anyways. Last time I checked ISO was still in beta but that was a long time ago. In any case once you have the JB4 you can always convert it to ISO if you want

Just saying from memory so I may not be completely accurate, but once you have a JB4 you can convert it to ISO by cutting one pin on the board and uploading a new version of the software and that's about it.
It's supposed to be a little more smooth in the power delivery, but I never had problems with my JB4 so I didn't do it. I suggest you head to n54tech for more info on all that |
