Opinion wanted: Burger "N55 Stage 1" or "N55 JB4"?

2013 135i convertible: current mods are the Berk Race exhaust and BMS intake and I have no plans to do anything else but a tune.

The Stage 1 is $150 less than the JB4, which is not a big deal but I am looking for one that will give me the least amount of hassles.

Thanks in advance...Bob Z.

Both are really rather problem free! Many more features like guage hijacking etc with the stage 2. Someone else can chime in about the tunes. I love my stage 2 so far.

Get the Jb4 for better tunes and features (I'd go for the ISO if I was you, maps are buttery smooth)

Stage 1 is no longer supported anyways. Last time I checked ISO was still in beta but that was a long time ago. In any case once you have the JB4 you can always convert it to ISO if you want

So what is ISO anyway?

I checked with Burger and verified I have the "B" harness and that the JB4 is probably best.

Just saying from memory so I may not be completely accurate, but once you have a JB4 you can convert it to ISO by cutting one pin on the board and uploading a new version of the software and that's about it.
It's supposed to be a little more smooth in the power delivery, but I never had problems with my JB4 so I didn't do it.

I suggest you head to n54tech for more info on all that
