Hey please chime in n55 135i here
Hey everyone!
So I recently purchased my '12 dct 135i. First mods were S2 jb4 and berk race muffler delete. I am waiting on flex fuel wires and a USB cable. I am planning on running the ISO setup... I currently am running an E20 mix on map 5 and am seeing 16-17psi. Car is hauling azz!! 11' Camaro ss, FBO mazdaspeed3 didn't stand a chance anyways here is my question.. 1) should I order a vrsf 3.5" ******* dp so I don't harm my turbo in the long run or will it be ok @ 18.5 psi with the *** still in place? 2) I saw there wasn't much of a gain on the N55 with a ******* DP/intake. Is it worth the money or should I stick with my current mods get a burger drop in high flow air filter and look into bigger better front mounts? I have the CPO maintenance program so I have to return car to stock when I get it serviced. All your comments and help are appreciated. I saw terry ran 12.0 with just 17.0 psi and a ******* dp interested to see what that same set up would do with the 18.5-19 the ISO puts us n55 guys at. High 11's with just a jb4 ISO and ******* dp?? Or is the DP even necessary? |

Yes if you get DP your car will spool faster and there wont be as much back pressure on the turbo. Definitely go with intake and DP if you are planning on hitting high boost.

and running higher boost your plastic charge pipe is going to crack--take care of it sooner rather than later. ER makes the best (general consensus of the forums)
