BMW Parts

I'm looking at sourcing some parts for my 1er, and having them shipped to Australia.

Now that Dan@ United (who I've been happy with in the past) is not an option, is there a source that everyone's preferring?

Wanting the parts shipped to Australia, I'm assuming that West coast will be cheapest - but may not be much of an issue, in the scheme of things.

TIA

He is just not an option right now due to the credit card fraud by some would-be customers/scammers. They are setting up the new site, that combines their two dealers, so everything will still be available soon. He also stated that he is still taking orders so just contact him.

Don't know - but I remember seeing something about the business not operating the same way. I also think I can recall someone saying that it was because of some transactions not working out to everyone's satisfaction - I read this to mean problems with payment, but could have been completley wrong.

All that said, i sent an email to the United web enquiry - at www.trademotion.com and I got a reply overnight from them, but not Dan.

Seems they are still operating, in some form. Unfortunately, not quoting the discounted price from their website. Which means all the dealers are the same now.

Ah, i see, (if im reading correctly between the lines here) this is coming from the top. Its pretty much the same thing that happen with Audi/VW. A few dealerships were selling boat loads of parts at a very discounted prices over the web. A few other dealerships complainted, and Audi of NA dropped the hammer and put a stop to it......No?

is a good second option if you can not wait for Dan to return. What BMW has shutdown, from what I understand, is international consumers purchasing parts from US dealers. I could be wrong though.
