car shakes ??? :(

hey everyone , i realized something the other day when starting my car , it shook a bit and it low reved for like 3 seconds , but it does nt sound healthy . this is my first BMW and i doubt thats normal. On the same note , its becoming a habit. I use 91 or AKA Gold gas in it and nothing else . Now i have a few questions?

1. Is anyone experiencing this?
2. could it be one of the sensors ?
3. does it matter if the car is cold or hot ?
4. What can i expect the dealer to do about it

I did. It's your HPFP (high pressure fuel pump)... Sounded like it was running on half spark plugs hey? Do you also have a long crank?

What can be done? Take it into the dealer and they should order the part for you.. but apparently they are back-ordered due to demand.

ohh so i am not the only one , i never realized the long crank , but i will pay attention to that tomarrow , thanks for the reply
