I will be going on the 30th or whatever is a week after Easter with a bunch of family and friends. I would be willing to meet up if you guys will be there that day. Appreciate the offer for free tickets but Im going with atleast 10 people and don't want to deplete you :smile:.

Im going the 29th. Already bought my tickets :-( I got 2 friends that still need to buy tickets. How can you get free ones to us?

Are they going to have the 1 series there since its pretty much already in production and released on showrooms? I want to atleast see that nice tii with all the carbon fiber and upgrades.

i get back the 20th from italy then pick up the 1 on the 22nd...but then i have easter sunday stuff like brunch etc...

I am going this Saturday. If anyone is interested, you can join the BMW CCA and be allowed to enter the show 1 hour early on opening day. BMW will be giving a talk about their new lineup for 20 minutes, and then you can roam the show free of the general public.

I would love a free ticket if possible. Let me know if you can mail it to me, I live in Manhattan.

Its cool. I cant wait to go. The BMW dealership in Spring Valley has the x6 which looks insane. I was supposed to test drive the 1 series today but the guy had to go to the show all day today to help setup everything so now im test driving early tomorrow morning. Cant Wait!

Sat in it yesterday during the preview. No crowds and free drinks. Awesome.
So about 135i. Me and wifey said same thing - interior is just plain cheap. I am talking pontiac cheap. It feels exactly what it is - the cheapest BMW. So it's driving manners better make up for it's civic-like interior.
The car was in sedona red. I ordered Crimson and there was an X3 downstairs in crimsonRed. I really liked the color. Apart fot interior - 135 looks pretty good. Especially the front.
So i will test drive it today. Hopefully i wont have to cancel my ED trip.

What car are you coming from that makes u say the 1 series interior it cheap and pontiac grade? I drive a little cobalt and to me when comparing to my car the 1 series interior is amazing. Its so much more refined and better looking. There is also an 02 pontiac grand am, 95 bonnevile, 07 gmc envoy and 07 saturn view in the family and I think the 1 series tops them all. Ive never been in a bmw so I dont know how it compares to 3 series or above but I guess coming from crappy american cars I think the 1 series interior is much better quality. But thats not saying much coming from me lol.

I went to the NY auto show yesterday -- I was pretty impressed with the constant crowd of people around the Sedona 135i. I'd say it was the star of the current BMW line-up (more so than even the new M3).

Johnny, enjoy the show. I went last Friday. It was about what you'd expect; musical numbers thrown in, Megan showing her , and most of the good jokes from the movie.

I'll be heading to the autoshow on Sunday, more to see the new Fit than the 1, though, since it's already in dealers.

Nice. I was always a big fan of the movie, from when I was a little kid.

As for the auto show today... I think I'm going to have to go another day. I was out with clients till about 3am.. and am pretty hungover.
