No apologies needed my man! Just seeing the real pictures has made my day! I will have to seriously reconsider installing my shadowline grills when I return in the Spring...

You said it was going to be an OEM style diffuser in CF right? Not a performance CF diffuser replica? (The mold is a lot different)

Not sure what you mean? OEM style diffuser in CF, a BMW performance diffuser, or a BMW performance diffuser CF replica?

Nobody has posted anything about an OEM style diffuser in CF or a BMW performance diffuser CF replica. However, a few people have posted about owning an OEM bmw performance diffuser already.

I think the most people want a BMW performance diffuser CF replica.. although you'd have to get your hands on one to mold and replicate with either full CF or wrapped in fiberglass. I'm sure people would still be interested in the OEM bmw diffuser if you guys came out with it in CF too.

Daniel,

Yea I'll probably start a new thread and see if anyone can come across with the BMW performance diffuser.

Eric if you can come up with this for cheaper than the BMW price (~$1400) you WILL sell at least the first 10-15 QUICKLY....I know many people want it but just cannot get past the price.....

Cheers

<- interested. Weight reduction isnt going to be much of a factor for a diffuser but it should not weigh more than stock. $700 seems a more reasonable price, and I don't see scores of people paying more than $1000 once the market gets going.

Nice grills!

like a glove!

Check them out. Carbon Fiber Kidney Grills installed 3 days after ordering. And all the way from California! Tekarbon delivers what he promises!! So no more sh!t talking

I'll get some better pics in the daylight, but I thought everyone would like some proof from a real customer (I have my PayPal receipt to prove it!) I work the next three days, so I may not post the daylight ones until this Sunday. My winter wheels go on that day, and I'm going to be taking a few pics of those.

Damn that looks pretty good.. and the pictures that Eric posted were from his camera but from my car.. I guess I'm not considered a real customer because he was just test fitting them on my car and I didn't purchase. I'm not affiliated with eric or tekarbon just so everyone knows (and i know theres been all sorts of debate from sponsor and sponsoree*? about reviews and praises etc. all over these boards)

if is carbon fiber, you should wax them occasionally to keep the clear code moisture.

The carbon fiber should have a layer of clearcoat on it, which is a painted surface.. you should wax it like you wax your paint it will keep it protected and help against harsh weather and UV rays. CF has a hard time against them and properly waxing and maintaining will help combat that
