Xmas/New Year's Sale on Quaife Final Drive Unit for your 135i at HP Autowerks, Inc.

The wait is over!

Quaife ATB LSD, The Ultimate Differential is now available as a complete ready to install Quaife Final Drive Unit(pumpkin) at HP Autowerks, Inc. with limited supply.

Don't know what a Final Drive Unit looks like on your BMW?***see #1 in the parts illustration below***

That means no more searching for local BMW shops with the knowledge tooling for the Qauife install. Now, it is simply remove your final drive and install the Quaife final drive!

Some information on Quaife ATB:

"The Quaife torque biasing differential enables your car to accelerate quicker and corner faster. How?

By getting the power to the ground!"

"In drag-race style, straight-line acceleration runs, this results in a close to ideal 50/50 power split to both drive wheels, resulting in essentially twice the grip of an ordinary differential (they don't call open diffs "peglegs" for nothing).

In cornering, while accelerating out of a turn, the Quaife biases power to the outside wheel, reducing inside-wheel spin. This allows the driver to begin accelerating earlier, exiting the corner at a higher speed."

Your choice of 3.08 or 3.46(sport) ratio.

Normal Retail is $3995 plus freight.

Xmas/New Year special is $3595. Freight usually runs about $95 to the 48 States.

The special only applies to the complete Quaife Final Drive Units only. The Quaife LSD when purchased seperately will not be discounted.

Exchange unit not needed as these are brand new final drive units and are sold outright. However, for a limited time we will give you credit upwards of $400 for your OEM final drive unit.

Availability is changing daily, please contact us when placing your order.

Yeah, Yeah - Throw us a bone, too! After all, if it wasn't for the automatic, the 6MT folks wouldn't have the "stump puller" (3.46:1) option. :headbang:

Have Fun,
Rick

Well, the option actually comes from the 335i automatics, the 135i autos actually uses a much smaller final drive unit, which does not fit the manual cars.

Yeah, but you don't need to spend nearly as much money to have a Quaife installed in your 135i! :w00t:

There may be a drop in retail price on the Quaife for 2009. That means the complete final drive price will drop as well!
