Complete Quaife Final Drive unit. Built from a good used final drive core with 3.08 gearing. Fits all manual 135i's to date.

Ready to bolt up to your 135i 6MT!

$2750 with exchange, plus freight.

I want to get one of these so bad

, but even at that price it's still too much right now. Hopefully in another few months or so I'll be able to spring for it. Although I think I'd want the 3.46 one.

3.46 Quafe Final Drive Units are on special for $3595, retail is $3995.

All parts are new for those.

There aren't any good used cores right now.

No good used cores at this time.

$3595 plus freight is still a great deal. And you get to keep your old final drive unit.

Found some 3.46 used cores, condition is okay, 30k+ miles, but they wanted lots of money for the cores.

You will be looking at $3395 with exchange on a complete 3.46 Quaife Final Drive unit.

I would just go with a new one because of the higher mileage of the cores.

What is the chance that you guys will do a core charge on the 3.08 unit and if so what would be the core refund?

The core charge is $700. A full credit will we issued if the core is a non-welded unit.

A welded core, such as the one that comes on all manual 135i cars is not worth much since very extensive machine work is required to intall a Quaife and must be shipped overseas(~$900 round trip). We can give you a credit of $300 when the core is returned.
