My BMW 116i E81

Hi all! I'm new in the forum and I would like to introduce myself and my Series 1. I'm from Uruguay and I'm owner of a 2007 BMW 116i E81. Although I'm from this country, I bought my car to a guy who came from Spain. He came to my country and had to return to Europe and that's why the car is 'unique' here. Despite the year of manufacturing, the car only has 40,000 KM (I bought it with 26,000) because he could not sell it before 5 years after being in the country, for legal reasons. So he returned to Spain and the car was in the garage for 6 years. Fortunately they take care of the car during all that years until I bought it . So basically I'm lucky to have a car not so usual in my country (3 door and with some extras) and with so less Kms that make me enjoy every day. I'm kind of 'obsessed' with take care . I hope you enjoy the photos. The only mod that I've made are the rims. Changed from 16'' to 18''Cheers!

That's a very nice car and thank you for posting pictures and the story. Do you have many BMWs in your country? I ask because it is always best if someone who knows BMWs does the maintenance work on them.
