Need help with colors!
Im about 70% sure about getting a 135, but i just can't make up my mind on interior and exterior color combos.
1. I really want leather if im going to spend $40k on this car OTD. 2. If im buying leather i want it in colors other than taupe or black. 3. I love the Coral Red color, terra seems to be prety good too. 4. I don't want black, grey, or monaco on the exterior, and im iffy about white. So heres whats left: Exterior: Crimson, Sedona, Montego, Blue Water, Cashmere, maybe Alpine, TiAg Interior: Coral, Terra, Savanna I haven't seen pics of the gray interior yet. What color combo would/did you get? Thanks. EDIT: I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. |

A very ballsy combo would be the "superman" combo -- Montego with Coral Red. It looks stunning in person, but some people can't put up with red leather on a daily basis.

I was really concerned about the "Superman" combo when I ordered (damn that coin flip) but I gotta say it is REALLY nice. If you don't mind the stares and questions it is a combo that is rare.

I'm also having a hard time with color choices. I pretty much change my mind about it every other day so you might not want to take my advice to seriously.
I would suggest Montego and Terra. I've seen some photos and it looks pretty darn good. If you like the Coral red, the Alpine White or TiAg with Coral Red is a good choice but it might seem a little feminine. I personally will go with a contrast of the interior and exterior. If I get a light color exterior, I will get a dark interior and vice versa. I still have a lot of time to think about it. |

Crimson - Savanna
Sedona - Savanna Montego - Lemon Blue Water - Lemon Cashmere - Terra TiAg - Terra or Coral White - Coral or Terra These are the choices which I think would look the best given the limitations. Black of course goes with everything. |

The Prelude has been a great car. I have not had one single problem with it since I got it back in 1997 and the only major maintenance cost has been replacing the timing belt. It still runs very strong even with 146k miles on it. It's a blessing and a curse at the same time. Since it's been so reliable, I haven't had a reason to buy a new car in the 11 years that I have had it. I get kids stopping me all the time asking me if I want to sell it. I would have probably traded it in on a new one a few years ago if Honda didn't discontinue the model. The only real sports car they make now is the S2000 and while it's a great car I couldn't live with it as a daily driver.

Well, i went to Global Imports here in atlanta and boy were they packed! I couldn't get a test drive in but they did have a sedona 135i that just came in. This was the first time i'd seen one in person. Very nice but i think not for me. After looking at the color plates and the cars in the showroom, i think i've settled on monaco blue with either coral or savanna. I figured dark colors would look dirty more easily but even on sedona it is easy to spot dust/dirt. So i guess it won't make a difference on that front if i go with a dark color. |

If I couldn't have gotten SGM I would have gone with Black with either coral or black leather. Yeah, it shows dirt quick, but when it's clean it has a presence. Add shadowline trim, new wheels, debadge it and you have one sexy, mysterious, menacing machine.
One of the great things about this site is the gallery section. You can see tons of pics of all the colors to help you decide.

'preciate all the input.
After going to the dealer and looking at some more pictures i've narrowed it down to the following: 1. Monaco w/ Coral Red 2. Monaco w/ Savanna 3. Monaco w/ Terra 4. Monaco w/ Lemon lol. Maybe i shouldn't call it narrowing... |

If going with Monaco, then I would go with Savanna or Lemon. Both have that great 2 tone look on the interior, and will match well with the Monaco, which is either dark blue or black depending on lighting conditions.

If you're going with Monaco, my opinion is to go with the Lemon interior. I saw one at my local dealership with Monaco and Lemon and it looked amazing. I'm not a big fan of the Savanna interior.
