Just removed the diff due to leaking. Should it be making this noise?

I never heard any whine or grumbles whilst driving but my exhaust is loud so I don't know...

I got all the parts ready to go. New seals and clips. I didn't opt for the bearings because I was told they're likely fine.

Hey, did you figure out if this was OK? Did you have any problems before removing it? Just curious.

All signs are that it's okay. Taking it off the car is pretty straight forward. You'll have to lock the axle and diff to get all the bolts out but other than that it was decently easy. I will say, I have a berks race exhaust. If you have an actual muffler, that has to come down.
