Thought I'd be disappointed without the raw carbon fiber exposed on your hood but it looks surprisingly good! Think the hood bulge and vents help, plus the car just looks good in white.

Like the 1M replica front bumper as well - completes the look IMO.

Thanks Esteban! I really like the way the hood and 1M rep bumper flow into each other. Also I left the recessed areas around the vents as exposed CF and I'm loving the look, was super difficult to do though haha

Not my actual first post but the first one about my car specifically. Picked it up Nov 1st - it's a 2008 Sparkling Graphite 135i. Had about 63k miles when I picked it up, so super low for the year. Paint needs a little correction work, and there are some wear and maintenance items it needs but overall it's in great shape. I have wanted one from the moment they hit the US, so this has been a long time coming!

Garage List
'09 135i  [10.00]
Koni dampers, Eibach Pro-Kit springs
Dinan Camber Plates, 15mm front spacers, 10mm rear spacers
stock 264's with OE size 215 front and 245 rear Firehawk 500's

Firehawk's run super narrow, so I'll go at least +1, more likely +2, when I get the next set - they run narrow enough to pull off plus 2 size 235 & 265's on the oe 264's. I've sized the spacers to allow the extra +2 tire width without having to purchase new spacers...

Judging from this picture I should probably do the front camber pin mod.

I don't know about running super narrow. I'm running 225/255. I just looked it up today on tire rack and for the 235 it recommends an 8-9.5" rim & for 265 says 9-10.5" rim. I'm not saying you can't run wider, that's up to you.

Here's 225/255

Generically speaking, I totally agree. No questions. As a basic rule one should not put 265's on an 8.5" wheel. But 255 Firehawk's on 264's, the wheels touch each other if you stack them up...
