+1 ^^^^^^^^^^^The BMW Performance exhaust is exactly what you are describing....i had mine installed prior to picking up my car from the dealer..Good exhaust, gives the car a wee bit more growl, and sounds great with the windows open and best of all is quiet enough at all times to have conversations etc, etc.....I paid $800 installed by the dealer....Coming from a full CP-E TBE on my last ride that was LOUD....this was a nice change....although i do wish the BMW Performance was a weeee bit louder..LOL
Where did you get the exhaust at that price?

I had the same problem as you a few weeks back. i really couldn't decide on an exhaust and decided on a performance exhaust but after getting a price from my dealer, I just went Dinan. I am completely satisfied with my exhaust and the actual sound the car puts out sounds 10x better than any 'sound clip' i have heard on the internet.

I have heard good things about the berk exhaust

im loving my berk sport exhaust.

just did an hour drive on the highway at an average of 75-80mph, an autox, and then back. Sounds easily overpowered by the stereo, can still have conversations on the phone over Bluetooth without the drone interfering, and it sounds mean as hell right when you want it to.

you wont be disappointed!
