local dealer has 1-2% rate

I heard on the radio that Autowest now offers 1% or 2% lease/finance on all 08 1 series car.
another local dealer offers $2000 cash back on 08 1 series too.
I guess they are trying to push out 08 stock now.
this is good buy for those who wants 08 model.

Damn! Maybe I needed to wait a month or 2!

Are you still planning on buying a 1er?

sorry Viv, I don't mean to upset you.
I am still planning to get a 1er, not sure going to be 08 or 09
due to the fact stock market crashed, I lost half of my money, maybe can't afford it now.
remember BMW store has a AW/taupe interior 128i cab but this one doesn't have any packages, just auto.
the price is good, $3000 discount + $2000 cash back.
thinking about it....
thanks for the referral, I spoke to the same SA who sold you the car.

So you're talking to Phillip?

He's a good guy. Very helpful & no where near pushy.

The 128 Cab has been there quite a while & they probably don't want to hold onto it for much longer seeing as winter is coming.

I think it might've been sold at one point as it had 'sold' on it & was in the pick up bay next to my car when I picked mine up. A week later it was back in the showroom. I'm sure it's the same car as how many no option , AW/Taupe cabs would BMW store have in stock?

Anyway, go get a crazy good deal on it!

yes, its Phillip
I am not sure how quiet the ride will be when top up.
I test drove Benz CLK cab and its absolutely like drive a coupe, so quiet and smooth, I guess Mercedes did a great job on their CLK cabs.

anyone got a cab can share your experiece?

Damn, I should've let you have a drive of the Boxster that day, I've put it away for the winter now... anyway it's noisier than the 128 cab but still totally livable.

Would have made a nice comparison.

I was advised to keep the tank full so condensation doesn't build.

My car had just over 3/4 so i just parked it up like it is.

Being from the UK & spending my 1st winter in the Fraser Valley, I never parked a car up for the winter before so it's a new concept to me!

Wow you guys are sooooo lucky!

I paid $85,000 for the car (135i manual non metalic) lease financed at.... 9.5%.

Seriously, for cars alone, I might have to move to the northern hemisphere!

Ya haha everything is ridiculous expensive in Australia. My cousin lives there, so I visited him in the summer, a 335 is over $100,000, an M3 is over $160,000!!!! A slice of pizza would cost $10 (with drinks and stuff). My note I got for $2000 here is closer to $2800.

But at the same time, someone working at McDonalds gets over $10/h.

Are those prices in AUD or did you convert?

Because either way that's still crazy pricey!

$85k AUD is $70 CAD or $58k USD

Those are pretty much UK prices. (where a regular litre of gas will cost you $2)

I think we are just damn lucky that our base price 1 series start from $33k.

US and Canada probably got the least expensive bimmer pricing when compare to the rest of the world.

TGIF and TG I drive a bimmer.
