Power randomly cuts out for 1 sec, but comes back on with rail pressure spikes

I have this issue with my FBO N54 when I'm accelerating and my RPM will completely drop, but come back up right after. It used to only happen at the track at random times, but now it's happening on daily drives even when i'm not pushing it that hard. I used stg 0 MHD on the track for cooling purposes, but now it really happens on any map, even not on WOT

I checked the datalogs and it seems to be an issue with my rail pressure. I've searched, but haven't seen anyone else with my issue before. In the datalogs, you will see the rail pressure spike up and down to numbers as high as 3500 psi

I've had CEL on startups a few times as it wasn't necessarily a slow crank, but more of a dry crank if that makes any sense. I've gotten a coolant light and/or half CEL from time to time when this happens, but in most cases it goes away without having to turn off the car. A lot of the times I don't get any kind code or light

Just want to figure out exactly whats wrong as my car is just barely drivable at this point. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I'm pretty sure its an electrical issue. I retightened the battery but I still happened. Anything else I could check that could be loose? or any kind of reprogram or reset after plugging in battery again?

You should probably have it scanned with ista, there might be faults in there your not seeing, if there was a check engine light at any time there should be a fault stored.

That being said I have seen fuel rail pressure sensors go bad and give similar issues as far as the power cutting out. Also the fuel pressure spikes could be a bad sensor and not the actual pressure spiking.

Figured it out. It was a loose ground on the engine. The nut was completely off so i don't know how it held on for so long and still be drivable. Thanks for everyone's suggestions!

I was just about to suggest this. I didn't do one of my grounds up when I replaced the injectors, so over bumps it would disconnect and send charge through god knows what. In the end, it fried the ECU, alternator, oil sensor and drivers seat motor :/
