Well, first, I haven't "used" anyone at this point, so that comment is a bit premature! As for buying from a forum sponsor, that could still happen, and if I can get a deal that is close, I will definitely go that way. Your company in particular definitely carries a number of systems that I would consider. N54Tuning would absolutely be a contender, being located in Canada, but they don't seem to list any axleback or full systems, although they do sell downpipes. If I am misreading their website I apologize. So, here's my dilemma: Right now our dollar is only worth about 75 cents US, adding about 33% to the cost of purchasing an item priced in US bucks. In addition, shipping a bulky item like an exhaust system from the US is pricey as well, compounded by larcenous brokerage fees charged by many carriers, i.e. UPS. Currently, Magnaflow products are available in Canada through several vendors for the same price in Cdn currency as they are in USD, with free shipping included, and no brokerage issues. The full price (minus taxes) is just over $1000 ($750 US) for a downpipe back system with resonated midpipe and axleback, manufactured in North America, delivered to my door. As I said above, if any forum sponsor can meet that, or even come close, on a comparable system, I will be happy to give them very serious consideration. Let me know what you can do! |

As for pricing, it is against forum rules to discuss it here. I would need more details like address in order to better answer all your questions

Hi Gerry, I'm in the same situation. Want an axelback and live in Canada, Montreal area and don't have many options other than custom setup. Can you post or pm me where you're looking for the Magnaflow system? I am interested. Thanks |

After a comment like that even if i planned on keeping this car/came on here often...i wouldnt use a forum sponsor. Seems childish to make the type of comment.

Since that exchange with Mike, I ended up buying a Wagner FMIC from him, and he was great to deal with, answering a number of questions to help me make an appropriate choice. He is a very good vendor from my perspective, and very much worth doing business with. |

Orpo; I ended up buying a used Berk Street axleback from the buy/sell section here. I'm happy with it; warms the sound up and gives a car a little presence without being offensive at all. Just what I was looking for. |

I installed a Magnaflow catback system (with their midpipes) a few days ago and I'm pleased to report that its no more than 10% louder than before under cruising conditions, despite now being completely cat-less, with absolutely no drone whatsoever. Fit and finish were absolutely top notch although we did have to shim the crossmember for clearance @ the Y-pipe. All in all, I would heartily recommend this setup to anyone... Here is a pic of the install below:
