I'm confused - it says carbon fiber, but also ABS. So, is it made with both? Don't know much about this stuff.

the core is ABS plastic, they just put some CF on top of it... "finished with CF."

Personally I'd stay away from this particular spoiler and maybe look into the alternative that jlevisw makes. Although it might just get painted over, I'd worry about it fitting right.

Poo poo.

I doubt that the stuff covering the ABS is even real carbon fiber. For the money though, I would just get it and if it fit well then have it painted to match the body color.

The description says E82 or E88, but they've already posted here that it won't fit the E88. Not sure why they haven't fixed the description on their website.

It's always a bad sign when they use the picture out of the BMW Performance catalog to try and sell their own spoiler...

I can give you the dirt on this cuz my car is one of the photo's and I just noticed. The splitter is probably from ******** or was from their inventory supply. I sent them the first photo listed in the additional photos section below the very obvious BMW Perf. pic. LOL indeed. Likely made in Thailand.
Only problem you may have is they were very poorly packaged from Thailand sea freight and lots of them showed up broken including the first one they sent me. Shortly after I got a good one from their warehouse they dried up like yesterdays rain fall. Dunno if these are from the same batch or not, but that would explain how they have a picture I don't think I posted here.

The trunks are shaped slightly different. I got the CF spoiler from iCarbon. Even though it states coupe only I spoke to them and they assured me it would fit and it did.
