BMW PE 128i to 135i Swap

I purchased a '13 135i and want to swap exhausts with my PE on my 128. My wife is getting the 128 and doesn't want the aggressive sound. Is the Y-Pipe required for the PE on the 135, or can I use the PE without it?

y pipe is not required in fact it requires cutting to install on 135i, and im oretty sure the 128i exhaust does not work for a 135i honestly i would search for a used PE

Thanks for the replies. Went by the dealer today and they said a swap would be no problem, and I can add the Y-Pipe later if one comes up for sale or have one custom made. I just need to order another clamp since they will cut the muffler off the 135i.
