Yep, Ska. You are right, castle Island really isn't and island and it is located in South Boston right off the water.

I thought we were moving away from the city?

Looking at this map, this location looks pretty painful, and doesn't look like we'd have anywhere to drive should we all decide to go for a drive. What happened to the idea of having it west of the city, so people could come from all directions, and none of us would have to actually go into the city.. Am I looking at the wrong location, or is this about where it is?

I don't like that location. It'll get really busy so there's no space to park to take pictures and definite no room to do a drive.

I may have to be downgraded to a maybe b/c none of the stupid dealers in this area will give me a loaner, so I have to take my car to the dealer I bought it at in western ma. It might be tied up for like 10 days.

We should have the meet in New Hampshire or something. Any one own a farm?

We'll be doing this meet in about 2-3 weeks so you should get your car by then. June 25th or July 1st, what does everyone think?

I'm thinking of going to see the Blue Angels the weekend of the 25th, otherwise I might be looking for a new place. The weekend of July 1st works much better for me, as I'm also taking a few days off then..

If its the weekend of July 4th I'll need to park next to an alpine white and electric red e90...

West of Boston seems to be the preferred location. I've been scanning the sat map and there's some Westborough area that's good for the meet. I can July 1st too.

7/1 is good for me as well. Let's get a decent showing here. It would be nice to have 30 cars or more. I'll ask that we don't attract the cops by doing stupid things though. Let's just enjoy a nice ride and good company!

You missed the "by doing stupid things" part, obviously.

As in.. don't give the cops a reason to pull us over. Like weaving in and out of traffic, passing where you shouldn't, and going too fast.

I didn't think I'd have to explain.

Maybe you heard about the Susan B Komen car shuttle 3 weeks ago. I volunteered to shuttle the cars to the next location. A bunch of yahoo volunteers, and bmw owners, took it apon themselves to race each other to the next location, passing people in the breakdown lane, on the shoulder, etc. The state police set up a roadblock for ALL of the Komen cars. I just don't want to be part of a repeat of that crap.
