Hagerty 1M valuations

I sat in on yesterdays Hagerty “state of the bmw market” webinar. They shared that most m cars are increasing in value. But Very few are selling above their inflation adjusted msrp. Except the 1M! Even though it has dropped recently they consider the pricing of these to be a bit of a unicorn in the collectible market.

I just picked mine up with low miles this past january so i'm in for the long haul. We'll see where we land in 2 years if it ever gets close to the $100k mark on a low mileage example. That would be wild.

With restored basket-case BMW R90S motorcycles going at auction for over $60k and E30 M3s for over $250k, what we once thought was impossible is now the new normal.

My dad sold his 1M that he bought new last summer. Had like 3,000 miles when he sold it. Got $104,000. It’s too bad they’re worth so much cause they’re an absolute riot to drive….

Very low mileage example sold for well over $100K
