That's weird because my dad has more accounts and does more business with BofA than most folks. Also, what state was the branch you dealt with? Thanks for the heads up.

I got 3.74% for 60 months from USAA

When I bought my car, the finance manager ran my credit and was able to shop me a 3.74% rate from a local Credit Union. USAA offered to match it, and they offer free gap insurance as well, so I went with them. I have my car insurance through USAA and they are great.

In order to get USAA, however, you have to be in the military, or have a parent that was military or had USAA insurance.

BUT, I was originally offered that rate by a local credit union, so try there first if you can. Someone else told me they got a great rate working with Costco

I was actually going to go with my Credit union at 4.24. Went in today and the BMW finance lady said that the best she could do was 4.65 for 60 mths. Well I told them no go since it would end up costing me $540.00 more. Well I sat there discussing the accessories with my dealer and then as I'm about to leave, sales rep goes and talks to finance lady and she comes back and says that they'll match it and give me 4.24 for 60 mths. I'm picking up on Thursday so if they try to pull a fast one at the last minute I'll let you guys know. I'll threaten to pull the plug. Take home lesson, shop around and tell em if they can beat it you'll go with them.

Grad program

Hi

I am really interested in the college grad program. Can someone give me some more details about it. Like what exactly are they looking for? I have fair credit, but thats because of my the short length of credit, and one or two lates. Will the fact that I just graduated and have recd. an offer for a $70,000 job make a difference? Will they take into consideration that as a college recent grad I may have average and not good credit?
Anyone who has had experience with them, please keep me posted. This maybe the only way I can get my first BMW.

Thanks in anticipation
I really want one !!!!

Congrats on graduating and finding a job.

Have you checked the first page of this thread? Some info there on the college grad program. As for what I know about it, yes, the program is designed to take into account that a college graduate may not have much of a credit history (average credit). Yes, they will also take into account if you have employment lined up. I applied for a BMW last year using this program and was approved but ended up not going through witht the purchase. I was a recent college grad and had average credit, with a job lined up. Sounds a lot like your situation. Basically the program lowers the threshold to get approved for BMW financing/leasing for recent school grads. Good luck and let us know how it turns out

I went through the first page of this thread. Thank you for the information. So did you offer you a competitive rate when you checked up with them? If yes, how much below the usual offered in the regular program? And is there a time limit after graduation within which you must buy the car? I am also going to post a question in the ask a dealer thread. I hope someone from the FS can reply with details of what specefics they will be looking for.
Thank You

REVIVING AN OLD TOPIC:

Any updates with the BMW College Grad Program? I have very little credit and I will need as much help as I can possibly get... I'm just hoping i'll get something in the 5%-6% range.

Has anyone been quoted an actual percentage rate yet through BMW's College Grad Program?

College Grad

I also have questions about the college grad program, this may be a stupid question, but is it possible to qualify even if you dont have a job. i just graduated in may and am going to grad school starting aug. If there is any way to get the programs low rates through this or another way, please let me know. maybe w/ a cosigner?(this may defeat the whole purpose of the program though)

On a side note, do all CU's have to use the same website setup when you log in? I'
ve seen two others and they are identical to mine.
