Window Sticker
After recently purchasing a pre-owned 1 series, what's the best place to get a copy of the original window sticker....or can you? I did a forum search for Original Window Sticker and didn't see it, surprisingly. Maybe I didn't search correctly? I figured it has to be on here somewhere.

I believe that there are websites where you can purchase this. Alternatively, a BMW dealer can give you a print out that has all of the information specific to your car's configuration, minus the glitz.
I'm looking at the one my dealer produced for me on my 135is Convertible, bought at 2 years of age, when I took it into the dealership for a PPI/1st service after I bought it from Carmax (it was within the return period so I could have returned to car for a refund had they found anything wrong with it). The printout was one page and entitled, "Retail Pricing Information: Wholesale/MSRP." It gives the production number, actual production date, model, original selling dealer, and the description of all the options plus their pricing, then the total MSRP at the bottom. The other stuff, such as the EPA MPG ratings are not on the print out.

I don't know of any way to find the original window sticker for a BMW. Unless the original owner saved it, it's as good as gone in my book.
That being said, querying the last 7 digits of your VIN will return your vehicle's build sheet on a number of different websites out there. One of them used to include the BMW online configurator photo renders as well. |

Well, the best option seems to be Monroneylabels, it's not too bad. I did get what BMW could print out, thanks guys!

By the way, just so people understand, Monroney sticker is the actual term for window sticker. Sen. Monroney of Oklahoma sponsored the bill that made the process law. |

Nice tidbit tock!
Well, it helps if I look in the trunk compartment trunk near the battery! Found my original manual and books! I still found value in the Monroneylabels in the meantime. |
