Wife’s daily driver since April 2014. We bought it with hopes I could track it a couple times per year (which I did a few times back then, before getting a dedicated track car). This has been a fast, reliable and beautiful car that we will be sad to let go. Previous owner did all the mods and actually removed a few prior to our purchase (wife wanted stock suspension and such). She commutes only twice per week (even pre-pandemic), but it’s a 70-mile, highway round trip. She took it from 18K miles to just under 66K in the last seven years. She now bought a 340i (first automatic!), so this one is sitting inside an airplane hangar with no tag and a clear title in hand. Options and mods listed further below.

Negatives:

Many small but noticeable paint chips/scratches on the front end due to the removal of an on-there-WAY-too-long paint protection kit (sadly, it totally defeated the purpose by keeping it too long!). Car still looks excellent overall, but I would get the grill area and front of hood resprayed. See pics.

Small cut in headliner of unknown origin (was there when we bought). See pic.

Stock struts are worn and getting weak. Still rides and handles fine, but you can bottom out when hitting a bump or depression at speed. It deserves coilovers, anyway 😁.

Though it shows no negative signs, it has never had a walnut blast and would probably benefit.

There is an open recall on a blower motor.

Cup holder and surround have scratches in the plastic.

We lost one key fob…so there’s only one.
