I had to change the Taupe to Black Boston leather. Taupe is way too light.

Some of the dealership types will need to correct me if I've screwed this up but here goes. I believe that the dealer is told they have X production slots allocated to them per month. They either have customers who have requested one of those slots (and the customer has configured a car) or they will configure a car themselves to put on the dealership floor for one of those slots. (There is an employee whose job it is to order cars for the dealership's inventory - they have to be pretty good. There are some funny stories about guys that couldn't judge public taste for love nor money that ordered some pretty peculiar configurations ; -).
But the allocation doesn't generate a number until a production order is placed, either using the customer's configuration or the configuration the dealership has created for one of their floor models. |

I just got my number as well. 389xxxx. Alpine White with Coral. I just logged onto the Owners Circle and it says my production number is for a Titanium Silver 128i. should I be concerned? I know that I read the Owners Circle could be off for a while compared to my actual order. Please Adivse.

My car may be delayed another month if I decide to wait for the Savanna Beige Leather.

I have also worked with Chris for years! He is the best salesmen I have had. What other options did you choose?

Don't worry, you can't go wrong with Graphite. I almost went with Blue/Black, but I have had two blue Bimmers and always wanted a white car
