Thumbs down E91 Burned a Quart of Oil in 115 miles

Just made my first service appt after only having the E91 a week.

When I took delivery I noted that the oil level was just below full. Today I got a warning after 115 miles total on odo. When I checked oil level it was below minimum and said to add a quart. WTFO?? Even my 1967 Saab 96 2-stroke didn't burn that much oil!! I've never - in 4 yrs - added oil to my 2002 E46 between changes.

Anybody else had this experience?

Nope. My E46 needed a quart after 5-10,000kms, and then never had a problem after that. Maybe if you reset it the light will stay off, or maybe it will assert that you really need oil??

And I'm curious how those service people will treat you since you bought your car stateside....
