Testing the footwell module (FRM) Torque Pro works?

I have been told by a few people that my FRM module is most likely fried, my windows wouldn't roll up, turn signals don't work, no interior lights etc. I called my local BMW dealer and my FRM module is covered under an extended warranty but they want $180 diagnostic fee.

My question is if my FRM module is bad why is the Torque Pro android app working when connected through the FRM module? Does this mean my FRM module is OK and I am having an electrical problem somewhere else? Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks for your help...
