2011 128 stock sport spring substitutes
I’m looking for some ideas, I’d like to do some refresh to the suspension and have stock non sport currently. From everything I can tell and searched stock rear sport springs aren’t available anymore correct? I’m thinking of changing to sport from non sport and DONT want to lower it beyond stock sport. The one thing that always gets confusing is when you see lowering heights because you don’t know is that lowering height range based at non sport or sport height.
This is a daily predominant winter car. I have an E85 and E86 that are modded and for the non salty road season. Searching I can’t seem to find the answer on what/where I can get stock sport height rear springs. Not looking to get crazy and ultimately if I stay stock non sport so be it but I figured while I’m refreshing is the time for any stockish upgrades. Just as I’ve been looking through threads it looks like H&R oe sports least from images looks to be more than I’d want to lower so I’m looking for ideas besides watching for when they come up in classifies here. |

There's probably a few dozen people on this forum (myself included) that have their stock sport springs sitting in a box that would gladly sell them to you.
You could also go with BMW Performance springs for further improved handling, but that would put you 5-10mm lower than the sport springs. |

Yeah, just post a WTB ad and someone will sell them.
The BMW Performance Springs are solid and slightly lower, but you'll have to wait. Last time I ordered a set, the fronts were on backorder. |
