E82 Oil level sensor fix help??

Hello all, im really seeking some help here as i have found no information on my exclusive issue. I have a 13’ 135i with the pwg n55 and the dct. I recently have been not able to read my oil level and am wondering why considering i cracked my oil pan a few months ago and got a new oil level sensor (bottom of pan) and condition sensor (in engine bay) replaced, upon further inspection (pictures) i see that the connector quite literally melted apart. Mhd is showing me a code for missing oil condition sensor/short to ground. Does anyone know how you would go about replacing the connector side (from car) to the oil level sensor in the pan? I have found no information on this. Anything is appreciated!

You've posted this in the wrong subforum. You're not going to get many replies. I just happened to see your subject title as the most recent post when scrolling through the other subforum lists. I'd ask the moderators to move this thread to the correct subforum or delete it and start one in the correct one.

That said from your pics, both the harness and the oil level sensor/CBS sensor are toast. I don't know what caused the damage. Not sure if it's the pic but it seems there could have been oil leaking from the sensor into the harness/connector area causing a short. Both will need to be replaced. When the sensor is replaced, you're going to have to drain all the oil out of the pan first. As to the harness, I tried looking on Real OEM and couldn't find anything close to what you need. You may want to go into a BMW dealer to see if the parts department can locate you a repair harness pigtail. You can also try a salvage yard to just cut off the end you need.

As an aside per my reference above, the condition sensor that checks the quality of the oil is contained in the same sensor assembly as the oil level sensor.

Pretty sure this is the socket

And these are the pins with wire already crimped on

You'd probably want to confirm the wire size of what is already on the car, BMW sells pre-crimped pins in at least 5 different sizes.

This thread talks about using that pin part number to fix it on a F series car
