SSK Recommendations

Really been thinking about getting a RTD shifter for my 135i, do you guys have any other recommendations. I do not want to cut into my trim either.

For my 128 I just ordered the parts listed in real oem for the m performance shifter and installed them. the parts are different for 135 and possibly the installation a bit more involved but the shifter feels nice and you don't have to butcher your interior.
You don't mention what exactly is your need. I assume you are just looking for improved gear changes and associated feeling for mostly street driving or perhaps occasional track days.

Mostly for street driving since this is my daily!

BMW Performance SSK for the N54 135i has been long discontinued and is *hard* to find. I'm pretty sure the RTD doesn't need trimming, unlike the CAE. The downside to RTD is not being able to run the rubber boot

Just installed short shift from Racing Dynamics. Don't have many miles on it yet, but so far incredibly short, positive gear changes. A bit more gear whine at first, didn't notice it too much lately.

RTD shifter is where it's at. Had mine for a while and I absolutely love it.

Heard nothing but good things about them! How does it feel? And did you swap out trans mounts as well?

Yup. I did in the article - that's my car lol.

Swapped the Trans mounts, and the SSK feels amazing. Only downside, and I think it's the nature of the design - it creaks a bit when shifting into reverse.
