Thanks guys. I thought you might like them.

Sorry, there aren't anymore! Quality is better than Quantity.

I was on a mission to get to the destination (900kms way from home) for a few more 1M mods. I had HMS-tuning exhaust, CF Revozport rear diffuser with ground effect panel and BMW CF mirror caps installed. Then I was in a rush to get home for my daughter's school speech day.

Great Pics as always buddy, and really good to meet you that day, loved that I was there for the first start up... man just sounded tough and raw. Haven't really liked many of the aftermarket kits on the 1M but I think the HMS is the one.

Would have loved to hear it as you drove away into the sunset.

How are you feeling about it from inside the car? Is it the noise you were looking for? Sorry couldn't make the dinner either.

Cheers for the pics.

Hi buddy,
It's exactly what I was hoping for, inside when valve is closed it's just like stock if not slightly quieter. When heaven is opened up and windows are closed it's definitely louder, a little boomy but not droney. TBH, I always open the windows when I open the valves to enjoy the sound fully.

This mod is giving me more joy to drive now, period!

Thanks mate.

Here's the first time the car fired up after the installation of the HMS, I have N55 midpipe but no downpipe.

Great sound! There must be a few of these exhausts in OZ now. I was going to pair mine with the n55, but opted for the HMS mids instead. Can't wait to fit those, but enjoying the rear exhaust as it is at the moment.
Hope you're enjoying the sound too! Love the nighttime pics as well

Thanks mate. Afaik my was the 3rd 1M with HMS tuning exhaust. . It was worth the drive down to Melbourne to get it fitted.

Are you based in Sydney by any chance?

Based in Melbourne. Curious to know why you drove all the way to Melbs to have it fitted. I just had the dealer fit mine and I think they did a great job. I know of only 2 here in melbourne, could be more, but I thought there were a few more up in Sydney. It's an awesome exhaust!

I'd be interested in doing a poll to see how many of each of the different exhaust systems out there people are running.

There were a few reasons why I drove 900kms for the fitting. I heard a lot of good things about the guys at Active Motorwerke and they did a nice deal for Ian and myself which was much less than what I could get in Sydney. I also love driving and any road trip is always good to do if time allows. I have a few relatives in Melbourne so it was good to catch up with them and then there was a track day at Sandown which I wanted to do.

Mate, only if I knew you are in Melbourne we could have all three 1Ms with HMS exhaust together for a nice sound-off video.

That also mean my 1M is most likely the only one in Sydney with HMS exhaust fitted.

I just found out there is another valve controlled exhaust available for 1M - It's from BCS Automotive in the UK.

Do the poll. it will be interested to see the results.

Cheers,
Quang
