Angry Really pissed off now

Please tell me if I am overreacting here folks.......I ordered my car on the 26 and didnt get a production number till the 30th (after about 5 requests for the number) but that doesnt really piss me off, the thing that pisses me off is that i sent an email to my CA on Sun AND Mon just requesting some info as to the ship i might get on (production ended on the 9 and it was at port on the 10) I have not recieved any email back or anything. I mean is it too much to ask to email me back just sayin i don't have the info yet? i've been waiting almost a week and nothing!! i'm pretty sure i'm not on the don juan (which i was hopin for) but hopefully ill be on one of the ships tommorow. It just pisses me off that im giving this guy $40000 of my hard earned money and he cant even respond to an email. Sorry to be complaining like this but i had to get this off my chest, plese tell me if i'm overreacting, THANKS!

lol you could always go down to the dealer and person and make a scene.

The best way to deal with waiting for your new car is to forget about it. Impossible? Maybe, but a couple weeks later, you'll receive the best phone call of your life.

Have you plugged in your VIN (obtainable from OC under review order details and accessed by Production number) into the W W L site yet? It might be on the Don Juan...don't rely on OC or 1-800# (notoriously slow).

my SA was the same, although, he did give me my production number the morning after i ordered. but after i gave him the deposit check, he was basically through with me. however, using info from this forum helped me locate all the info i needed to track my car without having to deal with my dealership. so try searching here and i'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

good luck!

by the way, you still have the option of giving your SA less than 5 when BMW NA contacts you about his performance. though, you'll be probably so excited about your car at that time that you'll forget about everything right away and give him all 5s...

Ouch ... if you're on board the Don Juan, the info would've pulled right up... it seems like your best bet right now would be Mignon (02/18 eta:03/04) or Courage (02/20 eta: 03/06) ... just hang in there.

Can you use this WWL system to find out when your car was built and shipped if you bought off of a lot here in the states? If so, where is this site?

Not sure...welcome to try at http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp under cargo tracking. I believe your window sticker has date of manufacture information as well as final assembly location.

I thought you were pissed about the Lakers' poor performance last night. Why are you a Lakers fan? You're not even from L.A.

that's great. it's been a bit disappointing seeing the lakers perform the way they have lately, but Kobe is always great to watch in action.

It's time you guys started giving ZEROS for bad service. My dealership just started an initiative implemented by BMW AG. It's about an entire dealership that forms groups of 4 or 5 and discusses everything in the dealership, with the goal of improving standards dealership-wide. BMW is an excellent company most places in Canada, and it seems that the US is full of arrogant pricks that pass for BMW salespeople.

If they treat you like sh*t, stick it back to them.

In case anyone cares, you can go back and track your vehicle like this. I went in and found out the ship it was on and the date it was shipped. I don't know how long the information is stored in the system, though.

papaerwork takes time man, your dealer has better things to do than spend all day following your personal paperwork (that will go though no faster just because you ask them to check on it 8 times)
there's about a hundred other people that also spent 40 grand or more on BMW's at that dealer, and if they all bothered the dealer as much as you do they'd probably just close shop

I know it's a pain waiting for the car, but it'll be over soon. I always figured I'd bother the dealer as little as I can so that when I do ask for info/updates they'd be happy to help

What the heck?? this is the first tim ive emailed my dealer in like 2 weeks. And all he has to do is just see if he has info on the ship i'm gonna be on. So if im emailing him too many times by emailing him this week then maybe i just shouldnt email him at all, funny he had enough tijme to send me his monthly newsletter today.

yeah, but you said you emailed them 5 times between the 26th and the 30th

that probably didn't put you on their list of their favorite people

knowing what ship your car is on will not get it in your hands faster.

It is not as if her/his response would do anything useful. Your car will get here when your car gets here. Some people email a lot, some don't. In my opinion there is no point to being angry with your SA. s/he is not your personal slave.
