Great work with the car guys it looks great. There is a huge difference between ricers who put a huge wing on their trunk just for looks and an actual functioning wing.
ps. I'm in love with that 370z

Thanks guys for the comments! We're wasting no time in the off season to make further enhancements. There's no such thing as "done", there are only two things that limit you from going faster. You either run out of money or run out of creativity!

For 2010 we just need to step it up a bit and make some more power with a custom reflash. Quote:

Yes, trunk is still fully functional. With the wing risers you gotta be careful though since the wing will actually hit the rear glass. If you have the standard mount which makes the wing 2.5" shorter it wont' have that issue. |

Hey everyone! This is Mike Bonanni, owner of the 370Z pictured above and the driver of the Berk 135i for these last two events. Thought I would pop in here and say thank you to all of you who like my 370Z! I am VERY excited to work alongside Berk next season and cannot wait to get back in the car and get this thing on the podium! The guys & gals at Berk Technology are incredible people and we have very high hopes for 2010!

Looking great guys!! Berk Technology has really stepped up their game.
My advice as for lightening up the car would be: Strip down to firewall and take out the 15-30lbs of sound dampening material Carbon Fiber roof Carbon Fiber Moonroof to replace glass Cutout inside fenders more And at somepoint carbon fiber doors should be made for this application. Good luck with the build!! |

New pics of the wheels we will be running for 2010! The APEX ARC-8 with the 135i specific fitments. Just a little background on the APEX wheels. APEX took a vested interest in the 135i community to build a wheel that would fit the 1 series unusually high rear offset. No wheel existed that would properly fit wide rubber in the rear. Now we have these!
These are just color samples from them hence the mismatched wheels. But the fitment will be the same as what you see here. I'm REALLY liking the anthracite and satin black wheels. Tons of room in the rear. Pictured is a 275/35/18 tire and there is PLENTY of room back there. I think a 285/35/18 will fit with ease but we will have to see! Car looks awesome with the new wheels! I too am digging the darker ones, but you know what would really set the car off...my name spelled correctly.

Just waiting for my APEX wheels to arrive this December!!
One question for you Berk: Did you guys swap the rear subframe bushings for the M3 bushings?? And if so, what were your impressions of the difference? Thanks so much for all the great R & D on the 135i! |

Pretty cool Forza rendering of our car! From what I hear it should be released on GearboxTuning.com next week and will be available for people to download!

“ KW Variant 3 Coilovers w/ custom spring rates”
firing up this thread as i continue to delve deeper into my own 135i project all these years later! Any wisdom on the custom spring rates mentioned above? My KW v3s feel amazing but at times can feel a tad soft for my liking. Looking for stiffer spring rates but am struggling to find any info on what would work best if going custom. p.s. LOVE my berk resonated mid and race axle back set up!! Car sounds and drives amazing 🤤 |
