5pm vs 8pm. (It was an all day affair though, still need to finish up tomorrow)
The bitch of the whole job was replacing a rad support that had a snapped screw in the mount for my intercooler; I did manage to change it without removing the rad.. while I was in there I installed new grille, turbo inlet, J pipe, boost pipe (turbo to intercooler), new fuel pressure sensor, coolant top up, and my intercooler is finally properly secured. Yay! Reflashed MHD tune w. PR coils checked. Cleared codes. Let it warm up a bit then brought it up to 4k... No codes. Perfect, save the HPFP for another day. I have a new engine undertray & right wheel liner to install tomorrow and finish buttoning up the lights. I also have a new valvetronic servo on order.. I've noticed it's ticking (sometimes) and I've seen it show up in hidden codes a cpl times so I just decided to order it today. |

Faaack... Got everything back together went for a short loop. HPFP seems like it is failing.. had an entire cylinder shutdown, sounded like I was driving a dirtbike, hopefully there's no damage.. checked codes, low fuel pressure.. looking like a tomorrow project, rain won't give up.

Question for the boys,
Should there be/is it common to find coolant in the intake tract near the throttle body? I just removed the charge pipe and found a bit of coolant in it. Wondering if I should be worried? |
