On the car that we did testing, no module replacement was required.

Coding can be done via Autologic.

Great idea since it's so easy..

..but the LCI taillights look ugly to me. Ever since they first put these style LCI lights on the 7 and 5, it looks like it's a lexus copycat. And they seem a tad pricey considering the old taillights were less than 200 bucks each new and i see no reason 2 curvey lights should cost more than 3 straight lights. Just not my cup of tea I guess

+1. I hate this too.

Well... two clicks away and I am in sticker shock now! It would be cheaper to just order them thru your local (or internet)dealer. I thought I saw it all until I scrolled down that website to see a 40 euro german fire extinguster selling for $250. lol

We can't post prices in this section. If you go to the Commercial Sales you can find prices there.

Sorry ... Rules of the forum

it was tested on 2011, we are looking for local guys with 2008 to get more testing done. Autologic dealers are allover the place, we can locate one near you.

We haven't had a single 1-series with halogen lights. I don't think the module replacement will be required based on my experience with E9X cars with halogen lights. We were able to code those cars without module replacement.

I will be posting more info as we go through the testing of 08, 09, 10 cars ...
